At Pilottown Consulting, we provide in-home and community-based behavioral support services to help children develop the skills they need to thrive. Led by Kara, a certified Behavior Consultant with deep experience in Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), our approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.We work directly with families, schools, and care teams to understand each child’s unique needs. Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating individualized treatment plans (ITPs) tailored to your child’s needs and strengths.
IEP Advocacy & Support
Guiding families through the IEP process by reviewing plans, preparing for meetings, and advocating alongside you to ensure your child receives the services and accommodations they need.
Family & Caregiver Coaching
Training parents, guardians, and caregivers to confidently implement strategies at home and respond effectively to behavioral challenges.
Collaboration with Schools & Teams
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and behavioral health technicians to ensure consistency and progress across all settings.
Data-Driven Support
Collecting and analyzing behavioral data to monitor progress, update plans, and ensure interventions remain effective.

About Kara
Kara holds a Master of Science in Education and has over 20 years of experience working with children using applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Her work is guided by professionalism, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping every child reach their potential, while giving families the tools and confidence to support them along the way.
